What we collect when you request a quote or ship with us, why we hold it, and who else sees it.
Last updated: August 8, 2026
§ 1Who this policy covers
This policy applies to networkgrouplogisticsllc ("we", "us", "our") and to this website, our quote forms and the email we exchange with you about shipments. By using the site or sending us a shipment request, you agree to the practices described here.
§ 2Information we collect
Information you give us. Your name, company name, email address, and the details of the freight you want moved — pickup and delivery locations, commodity description, piece count, weight, dimensions, dates, and any special handling or site notes. If you become a customer, we also hold billing contact details and shipment history.
Information collected automatically. Standard web server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and the pages you viewed. This is used in aggregate to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, and we do not collect payment card numbers through this website.
§ 3Why we use it
- To price your shipment and prepare a quote.
- To book capacity, dispatch a carrier and produce shipping documents.
- To keep you updated on the load and resolve exceptions, delays or claims.
- To invoice you and keep the records that transportation regulations require.
- To answer questions you send us and, where you've asked for it, follow up about future freight.
- To protect against fraud, misuse of the site and unlawful activity.
§ 4Who we share it with
Moving freight requires sharing shipment information with other parties. We share only what the job needs:
- Motor carriers and drivers — pickup and delivery addresses, contact names at the dock, freight description and handling instructions.
- Warehouses and cross-dock facilities when your freight is stored or transloaded.
- Service providers that run our website hosting, email and transportation management software, under confidentiality obligations.
- Insurers and claims adjusters when a cargo claim is filed.
- Government agencies or law enforcement when required by law, subpoena or regulation.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
§ 5Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember basic preferences and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some conveniences may be lost. Where third-party analytics are used, the provider processes the data under its own terms.
§ 6How long we keep it
Quote requests that don't turn into shipments are kept for a limited period so we can price similar freight for you later. Shipment records, bills of lading, delivery receipts and invoices are retained for the period required by applicable transportation and tax rules, and for as long as needed to resolve any claim or dispute.
§ 7How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted transmission of website form data and access limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
§ 8Your choices and rights
You can ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete information we're not required to keep. You can also ask us to stop sending you non-essential email at any time. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights; we'll honor valid requests under those laws.
To make a request, email info@networkgrouplogisticsllc.com from the address on file. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
§ 9Children
This site and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will delete it.
§ 10Links to other sites
Our pages may link to carrier tracking tools or other third-party sites. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before providing information.
§ 11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revised version takes effect when posted, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.
§ 12Contact
